Re: Technical Reference for Lance Ferris

I have known Lance Ferris in his capacity as a site manager for period of approximately 5 years.
Most recently, I was the Relevant Building Surveyor for a large residential project that included 66 apartments
and basement carparking over 7 levels. The project was valued at $15,5m and commenced Nov 2017 and was
completed by Aug 2019. Lance was the site manager for the builder Drakk Constructions.

In this role, Lance was directly responsible for organising documentation for the building permits including co-
ordinating design amendments with the structural engineer, and liaising between myself, my inspectors the

project manager and me as relevant building surveyor. During the construction phase, Lance organised for all
inspections and site meetings to discuss issues as they arose, through to Occupancy permit.
Based on my history with Lance, I can confidently state that he has a very high level of understanding of the
building process and is very capable of ensuring an efficient and timely progress in achieving milestones along the
way.
I have no hesitation in providing this reference in support of his application for an increase in the capacity of hiw
domestic warranty insurance.
